Important NOTES pertaining to this course
It is important that you view ALL notes pertaining to your course.Hello Introduction to Multimedia students!
Attention Front Range Community College Students: Please consult with your Front Range advisor to determine whether MGD1002 (formerly MGD102) or MGD MGD1017 (formerly MGD117) is the appropriate course for your program of study.
WELCOME to a new semester, and thank you for enrolling through one of CCCOnline's MGD 1002 (formerly MGD102) courses. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you to make sure you have access to the correct version of the Adobe software for this semester.
You can purchase the Creative Cloud subscription http://cccs.onthehub.com which will direct you to a subscription plan direct from Adobe. You can choose to use the Multimedia lab at your home college, if they have one. You will need to contact your college and see what is available. Generally, Multimedia Labs are separate from the general Computer Labs on campus. Some colleges in the CCCS system may have their own Adobe licenses that students can use.
In order to succeed in an online Multimedia or Computer Web-Based course, you need to know how to install software, navigate the Internet, and perform basic computer-related tasks. If you are brand new to computers, it may not be a good idea to take a class like this online. Please make sure that you have discussed taking MGD1002 with your advisor, if it is part of your degree or certificate plan.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me via the email address below.
May you have a very successful semester!
