Are you interested in a career in health professions? The need for health care will always exist, whether it is in nursing, medicine, physical therapy, radiology, medical technology or nutrition. This is especially so today as the Baby-Boom generation gets older and more in need of medical care. And Baby Boomers who are nurses, doctors, dentists, dental hygienists, physical therapists, or radiology and medical technologists are nearing retirement - so the job opportunities will be practically endless!
While CCCOnline does not offer an online nursing program, our courses include the necessary prerequisites for admission to nursing schools and other health-care programs. In addition, the Health Sciences classes are all GT- Pathways approved courses. GT stands for Guaranteed Transfer, meaning the credits you earn for passing a class will transfer to any public college or university in Colorado (see (gtPathways for more information). All 13 Colorado community colleges ('home colleges") offer certificates and degrees in a variety of health-care programs into which our classes will transfer. Visit www.coloradocommunitycolleges.com for links to all of these home colleges.
Career opportunities are plentiful in the health arena, so please take advantage of our online courses to propel you into your chosen area of study.
