ACCOUNTING: It All Adds Up!

CCCOnline's Accounting program offers a range of courses that provide a general introduction to accounting theory and practice, as well as more extensive exposure to accounting applications in selected areas.

What’s in it for me?

Bookkeepers, auditing and accounting clerks are at the heart of every company. They keep track of the money – both what the organization earns and what it spends. In 2004, bookkeeping, auditing and accounting clerks held more than two million jobs in the United States, including more than 30,000 in Colorado.

Maybe the best part about a career in accounting is that every organization needs someone to maintain its financial records, so there are job opportunities in a variety of different office settings. You can even use your accounting skills to work in temporary or part-time positions that fit the busy schedule of a parent or college student.

Whether you choose to pursue a certificate or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, the array of CCCOnline accounting courses will help you gain both general accounting skills and specialized software skills that will help you find and succeed in a great job.
